University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Lincoln, NE 1979-1983 Ph.D. Major: Community and Human Resources

This was an individualized interdisciplinary program combining counseling, adult education, and organizational behavior [management]. My dissertation measured the impact of adding self-management training to a supervision class I presented to managers and supervisors at Lincoln General Hospital on group leadership. (see abstract ) My practicum placement was in the training department at the Omaha National Bank. I wrote 2 paper and pencil management simulation exercises (in-basket tests) for use in their supervisory development program.
